Greetings Lovejoy Middle School Family. I hope all is well.

If you have not already done so, this is a reminder for you to access the Infinite Campus (IC) Parent Portal. It is critical that all parents and guardians have claimed their IC Parent Portal accounts. The Parent Portal is where you can access current attendance and grade information on your students. You will also have access to complete important surveys and update your contact information.

Currently, all students will remain virtual until April 12. Beginning April 12, only students classified as Low-Incidence/Self-Contained will return to the school building for face to face instruction on a hybrid model (attending every other day on an A-B schedule). Your child's A-day or B-day designation can be found in your IC Parent Portal. If your child is a Low Incidence/Self-Contained student, you may opt out of your child returning for face to face instruction through the IC Parent Portal. Parents of students that are Low Incidence/Self-Contained will receive an individual phone call from the student's teacher.  All other students will remain on the Virtual Learning model.

Thanks for all you do in support of Lovejoy Middle School. Take care.

Lovejoy Middle will be merging with Eddie White Academy for the 2021-2022 school year!!

EWMA/LMS Merger Follow Up Meeting Video

Welcome to Lovejoy Middle!

In this time where physical distancing and remote education has become necessary to slow the spread of COVID-19, social connection is more important than ever. We know it is crucial for our students to feel connected to a supportive community to help support their well-being.
Positive student relationships are fundamental to success. When students feel supported, they're more likely to engage in learning and have better academic outcomes. Plus, when students have positive interactions with adults, they have fewer behavioral problems. These relationships are more important, and more challenging, than ever in uncertain times, like during the coronavirus pandemic.
A strong sense of connection is necessary to create positive social, emotional, behavioral, and academic outcomes. It meets the basic human needs of building social bonds and feeling cared about.
We know that creating and maintaining these relationships via remote learning is a new challenge for us to meet. However, CCPS Behavior Intervention Specialists are up for the challenge!

Come CONNECT with us every week to share, listen, talk, laugh, and release! Click on the Zoom Link below for your child's meeting time!

Thank you for all you each do every day to enrich the lives of young people!!!
